Art/Music Camp       9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon   

  Ages 4-9 yrs. Join a whirlwind adventure exploring the elements of creativity through art projects, including painting techniques, color experimentation & composition using oil pastels, water colors, grafitti, collage, print making and creative exploration with many art materials.  Projects will include traditional art work as well as projects, such as tote bags, musical instruments, bird houses, etc., with outside activities and free-play time a part of the daily schedule.  Each week various elements of music, art and drama are woven throughout the daily activities.

Drumming Classes, Piano & Guitar Camps* are a once a week activity to enhance summer study. For piano and guitar, it is recommended that students also take private
lessons to optimize their summer progress and make allowances for summer vacations.

Fees: $75 per month, One 1-hr class per week.

No camp July 4th.
*All classes are subject to cancellation if minimum
enrollment is not met (fees refunded in this event).

Weekly Music-in-Nature Classes
Weekly Class Times:  12:30 PM - 1:30 PM  Monday, Tuesday or Thursday  

Ages 2-5 yrs.  Nature's Trail is a wonderful weekly 1-hr. class of summer exploration with the songs, stories and activities that bring out the music in nature in the wonderful setting of Country Village!   Fee:  $80 per 5-week session.  $25 sibling discount.  Dee Sales, Instructor

Ages 2-5 yrs.  Seashore explores the whole world of story and song with the creatures of the sea and their magical movements!  Instroduction to instruments and their sounds!  Come and play with us.  This is a perfect class for siblings.  Fee:  $80 per 5-week session, $25 sibling discount.  Dee Sales, Instructor

Music Around the World - Amerindian (American Indian)

Once a week class for 5-7 year olds      Wednesday afternoons      5 week session of 1 hour class/wk  $80 per session

Includes singing, creative and structured movement, playing instruments and ensemble work, ear traning and guided listening while playng native drums, shakers, bells, etc.  Outdoor and indoor activities!  Minimum enrollment of 4 students needed.

Music for Babies is a 30-minute class for parent and infant (newborn up to 18 months).  Adults learn lullabies, bounces, rhymes, echoes – music/movement activities to awaken the infant’s curiosity about music.  Babies absorb everything…learning the language of music as they learn to talk!  Foundation is laid for beat awareness, vocal production, and aural discrimination.  First semester home kits ($35) include parent guide, CD, and pouch containing baby’s rhythm sticks, rattle, and movement scarf. Class fee:  $53 per month
Toddlers – 1 ½ - 3 ½ yr olds and their caregivers share the joy of music and movement while developing musical skills.  Adult and child explore music through singing, focused listening, moving, echoing rhythmic and melodic patterns and playing simple percussion instruments.  Home kits ($35) include family songbook, CD, and toddler’s percussion instrument. 
Class: $53 per month
Cycles of Seasons for 3’s & 4’s can have parents in attendance during class or for the last 10 minutes.  Activities nurture musical growth and development and include singing, beat/rhythm activities, movement exploration, listening, creating, playing instruments, poems and stories.  Musical concepts, such as rhythmic and melodic patterns, tempo, dynamics and timbre, are experienced in many ways.  Family home kits ($38) include a songbook, 2 CD’s and 12 animal listening game cards in a cloth bag.  Class fee: $53 per month
Music at Home in the World for 4’s and 5’s begins an advanced sequential curriculum.  Explore musical concepts through singing/vocal development, playing instruments, moving, listening and creating.  Musical skills evolve through performing, hearing, writing and reading musical patterns, instrumental ensemble work, & focus on orchestral instrument families.  Semester materials: 2 packets ($30 per packet), each containing a parent booklet, CD, notation cards, nature-theme pictures and instrument posters.
Class fee: $53 per month

Dee’s Music Room  offers an opportunity for students who enjoy singing to practice with a group and decide what music you’d like to sing!  The focus is to help each singer grow to a new potential and HAVE FUN with other singers.  Focusing on the young singer, this experience prepares the individual to perform with a group and solo (if they wish to and are ready).
Special rates for 2 singers in a family. 

No voice lessons are required at this level.   Families with more than one performer will get a special rate.
